Uncooled Focal Plane Array (FPA) Microbolometer Detector

The SAT-HY6800 / ISG K6800 utilizes the most advanced 320×240 uncooled UFPA SOFRADIR detector from France, along with noise-reduction technology and provides extraordinary long wave band performance and high definition image.

Integration Design and Easy-Intelligent Operation

The lightweight and small size SAT-HY6800 / ISG K6800 fits comfortably in the palm of the user's hand and requires no external cables to operate. It's one of the lightest infrared thermal imagers in the world. The built-in auto focus lens is accurate and adjustable and all on board imaging functions can be operated through compact, reachable buttons.

Record Digital Image and Testing Voice Annotation

The SAT-HY6800 / ISG K6800 uses digital image storing technology with the popular Compact Flash storage. The thermal imager is capable of surveying and recording the detailed image with speed and accuracy. An 8 seconds voice annotation per image can be recorded and available for later recall.

Powerful Analyses and Processing Functions

The SAT-HY6800 / ISG K6800 can perform in-field thermal analysis on the image, allowing pre-report review, including maximum and minimum temperature auto-capture, high temperature alert, multi-spot temperature measurement, line analysis, area analysis, isothermal analysis and the accurate analysis result.

High Reliability and Solid Structure

The body enclosure of the SAT-HY6800 / ISG K6800 is constructed of high quality aluminum alloy, resulting in exceptional mechanical strength with anti-impact technology, for work under harsh environments.

Intelligent Battery System

In order to provide reliable and uninterrupted power, SAT-HY6800 / ISG K6800 uses long-life SONY® Lithium Ion Batteries. The intelligent battery system continually indicates battery life on the imager screen.

Pseudo-Color Filter

The pseudo-color filter can be set for a Max and/or Min temperature value individually with a chosen temperature range of a detected object. This will assist in filtering the background thermal noise and display the detected object intuitively. Note: pseudo-color refers actual lack of color for infrared radiation. The color palettes are a human perception friendly way to represent infrared radiation.

Simultaneous Four-Image Analysis

The SAT-HY6800 / ISG K6800 has a split screen option that can display four images simultaneously, on which thermal analysis can be performed for split screened image. This allows in-field comparative thermal analysis.

Image Zooming

The zooming function of SAT-HY6800 / ISG K6800 is approximately an 8x zoom without interrupting the on board thermal analysis results.

LCD

Images can be view with a built-in color viewfinder, and on a detachable3.5" LCD.

Real-Time Transmission and Control: RS232 Remote Control

The SAT-HY6800 / ISG K6800 can be connected to a computer by RS232 interface and controlled remotely. This also functions as a data transmission connection for saved thermal images.

Image Analysis and Processing Software

The SAT IR Analysis / ISG SpectraScan Thermal Analysis software is a flexible integrated report generation and thermal image analysis package. Thermal details can be pinpointed and documented.
